“God of Malice” by Rina Kent

 

I really wanted to read this series for a long time because I loved Royal Elite series and I wanted to know the story about their kids. So, I reread Royal Elite and here I am!

First of all… WTF???? I thought that the first series was dark but this one? This one is another level of dark! And definitely more about the sex than the other books!

“I have not a shadow of a doubt that the little rabbit is flipping my world upside down. And I’ll let her. Because she’s mine. And I’ll set the whole fucking world on fire to make sure she remains safe.”

Killian is not only dark, but cold also. He doesn’t show any emotion but that kind of changes when he meets Glyndon. In the beginning, I was afraid for her because he was kind of unhinged but it was good to see that he became better and he showed emotions for Glyndon. OK, the man is walking red-flag but I liked him!

“Not all girls like the hero. I was fated to fall in love with the villain. Because I know, I just know that he’ll put me ahead of everyone. Himself included.”

Glyndon is the daughter of Levi and Astrid and she has a legacy to follow. But she doesn’t feel like she’s worthy. These thoughts led her to Killian and her life changed a lot. She can be herself with him and she became stronger.

“I’ll make sure you always choose me as much as I choose you.”

Killian and Glyndon are perfect together and it was pretty funny to see Levi and Jonathan King trying to accept them as a couple. “Trying” is the key word here! LOL!

I liked all the secondary characters and it was good to see the kids of my favorite couples! I really want to read more about Eli and Ava! My favorite moment was the chat between Levi, Aiden, Xander, Cole and Ronan about their kids. They were hilarious!

"Royal Elite Epilogue" by Rina Kent

 

This is a short book with the HEA of all our favorite couples from Royal Elite series. We can see them in the future and the way their bond, both as couples and as friends, is getting stronger through the years.

It was nice to see them with their families and I have to say that all the men are way too jealous of their kids!!!

I loved the way they’re teasing each other and the connections between their kids. I don’t have a lot to say because it’s a short story, but I enjoyed it very much!

"Ruthless Empire" by Rina Kent

 

I wanted to read the story of Cole and Silver since I realized that they had the hots for each other! His darkness and her propriety about social rules made their story pretty interesting…

“Hate me all you want, but keep our promise. All your firsts are mine.”

Cole is a man of a few words with some dark thoughts. He’s not easy to understand and he doesn’t care at all! I loved the way he was with Silver, because it was obvious to me that he wanted from her to do her best and to not be afraid of living her life. He was possessive and sexy as hell!

“She’s not supposed to be my calm. And yet, when her head falls on my back and her warmth mingles with mine, I realise she’s the only calm I’ve ever had in my life. Even books don’t compare — and that says something.”

Silver is definitely a misunderstood main character and I’m glad we learn about her. I have to say that I liked her a lot. The way she loved all the people in her life was amazing! It was good that we had all these scenes from the past, because we learned a lot about her.

The plot was definitely unique and I loved every single page of this book! What I liked post? Definitely the epilogue, because it shows just how much they love each other. Not only Cole and Silver, but all their friends also!

"Vicious Prince" by Rina Kent

 

It’s true that I love all men from this series but I have to be honest… Ronan is my favorite. And his story? I loved every page!

This is not just a story about an arranged marriage. This is a dark story where little kids experienced something horrific and that changed their lives.

Ronan is a unique character! He is funny and definitely a ladies man, but this is just a front. He loves his friends and he wants to be with as many people as possible and he’s determined NOT to get married with a certain girl with gothic vibes.

Teal is very different from other girls. She has a dark past and she can’t feel emotions like normal people. Until Ronan and that drives her crazy! I cried for her when I learned her story and I am glad that she got her HEA!

It was good to see everyone again and I have to say that the scene when Cole, Aiden and Xander were making fun of Ronan about his texts was hilarious!

Also, I must admit that the chemistry between Ronan and Teal was AMAZING!

"Black Knight" by Rina Kent

 

This was a very difficult story to read. I loved it but it was difficult. I cried a lot and I was sad most of the time, but it was beautifully written!

“Xander is the type of war you never see coming, and when you do, it's already too late.”

Xander and Kim know each other since they were little kids (they were adorable, both of them!) and they were in love most of their lives. But fate played a cruel trick for them. Due to an honest mistake they grew apart in the most horrible way and now both of them are paying the price.

“Xander’s soul completes mine. Life without him has no meaning.”

I love Xander but he did so many mistakes! He was suffering but he did all the wrong things, not only to Kim but to himself also! I loved his passion and his fierce loving and I was sad to see him out of control with his liquor.

“I might be broken, but I’ll pull myself together. I might have fallen, but I’ll get up. There’ll be a day where I look behind and say I survived.”

What can say about Kim? I love her and I cried so many times while reading her thoughts. Her depression and her suffering made her hurt herself and it was sad to see that no one knew that something was wrong. I was glad to see her snake of a mother out of her life because that woman was absolutely awful! Kim deserved a HEA more than anyone!

I also liked both their dads but I can honestly say that they had awful taste in women! Also, little Kir was adorable! Of course, all the gang was great as always and especially, my favorite, Ronan!

Great story like the previous ones!

"Twisted Kingdom" by Rina Kent

 

The third book in the Royal Elite series is the last about Aiden and Elsa and it was amazing! Finally, we have the full picture of what happened ten years ago and it’s pretty sad. We learn more about Aiden, Elsa and the appearance of her father Ethan makes all the difference!

“What I feel for you isn’t only love, obsession, or addiction. It’s all of those and more. Do you know what that means, sweetheart? It means I can’t live without you, so don’t you fucking dare leave me.”

Aiden is beyond words! I know he is super possessive and I believe that many women will tell that his actions are red flag, but I have to admit that I absolutely love him! His love for Elsa is strong and he would do anything for her! I am going to miss him as a main character!

In this story Elsa shows us just how much strength she has and how love is important in her life. She would do anything for the people she loves. I was glad to see that she accepted her needs and her love for Aiden.

All the secondary characters were great! My personal favorite is Ronan because not only is he sexy as hell but he’s very funny! Xander and Cole are sexy and mysterious both of them and Kim who hides something. I like Knox and Teal, although their story is sad. Ethan is an interesting character but I have to admit that I kind of prefer Jonathan King!

What I liked most of this book? Little Aiden and little Elsa! These scenes were my favorite!

"Steel Princess" by Rina Kent

 

Finally dual POV!!!  The book was amazing and the fact that we have Aiden’s point of you it was the best part! OK, let my start from the beginning…

The story continues after the cliffhanger and in this book we learn some major information about Elsa’s past. Also, we can see the development of the relationship between Aiden and Elsa.

“Being mine isn't a fucking choice," he says in that scarily calm tone. "It's a fucking reality.”

Aiden is pretty dark and it’s easy to understand why after reading this book. What happened in his childhood is the main reason but the fact that he was raised by Jonathan King who is as cold as ice (but way to sexy in my opinion!) and a mother who had depression, didn’t help at all. He is very possessive of Elsa and it’s kind of scary (also sexy!).

“Loving me is a one-way road, sweetheart. You can never go back. You can never fall out of love or any of that shit. It’s permanent and it’s for life.”

Elsa is definitely a very strong young woman. After everything that happened in her life, she’s not only surviving but she’s doing her best under all these awful circumstances. She’s trying to remember her past and all the people around her are trying to stop her because they know that it will be devastating for her.

In this book I liked even more the secondary characters! Ronan (my personal favorite!), Xander, Cole and Kim are amazing and I really loved the dynamic between them!

I absolutely love Aiden and Elsa! Their erotic scenes are beyond words and I can’t wait to read more!

“I’ve been addicted to you since I touched you. I can’t stay away from you even if I wanted to, sweetheart. So don’t ask me to. Don’t even suggest it.”

"Deviant King" by Rina Kent

This is the first book in the trilogy of Aiden and Elsa’s story and I loved it! It is a dark young adult romance and if you are fan of this genre, you are going to enjoy it very much!

The story is from Elsa’s POV and we learn that she is living with her aunt and uncle because her parents are dead. She doesn’t remember anything before the last ten years and she had a heart surgery.  She is a student in an elite school and her best friend is Kim. For the last couple of years she is being bullied and she can’t wait to finish her last year in this school.

And there comes Aiden King… The king of school and her tormentor. She doesn’t know why, but she has his attention and he has no plan of let her go. The great question for her is why now.

“If anyone dares to look at you, let alone touch what’s mine, I’ll fucking murder them. Is that clear?”

Aiden is definitely a unique character. He’s smart, manipulative and very domineering, especially with Elsa. He seems like he’s having a secret, which is trying to hide. I loved the way he’s calling Elsa sweetheart and, although, so many times he was kind of asshole, I could see his real interest for Elsa.

“Don’t idolise other men in front of me. I don’t like it.” A burst of laughter slips from my throat. “Are you jealous, mighty King?” “Damn straight I’m jealous. I’m so possessive of you, it drives me fucking crazy.”

I liked Elsa a lot! She’s smart and has a strong opinion about everything. Aiden is her weak point but I can’t blame her! She has trouble remembering her past and that makes her life difficult. She’s protective of her friends and she’s trying always to do her best.

I have to say that the other characters were amazing! Xander, Cole, Ronan and Kim were great and I admit that I have a soft spot for Ronan! He’s so sexy and funny!

Also, it is weird to say that I find very sexy Jonathan King? Well, I do!

Great story with a cliffhanger that will make you want to read the next book asap!

"Cruel King" by Rina Kent

A few days ago I decided that is time for a Rina Kent marathon! Yeah, it was about time! I love her books and because I haven’t started her last series, I thought it’s time to read from the beginning so I can make notes and everything that is needed in order to remember every character!

I absolutely loved Cruel King! It has it all: enemies to lovers (my favorite!), male main character to die for and an amazing female main character!

But let’s start with the basics. Kings and Cliffords are enemies. So Levi King and Astrid Clifford are kind of doomed! Yeah, right…

“You can be upset and angry all you want, but don’t bring another man in my presence again.” “Or what?” “I’ll end them. Every last fucking one of them.”

Levi is a King and not only in name. He walks the walk and he talks the talk. He wants Astrid and he fights until he can’t anymore. I love the way he calls her princess and when he’s jealous is so sexy! He is smart and larger than life and I loved him! 

“Levi will never be the Prince Charming type. I’m completely fine with that. I always preferred the villain, anyway.”

I liked Astrid a lot! The death of her mother was devastating for her and she’s trying to cope but living with her stepmother and a father that feels like a stranger doesn’t help her at all. Now she has Levi’s attention and everything changes!

The secrets are many between them but their passion will prevail!

"King of Greed" by Ana Huang

I loved this book!!! It was different in many ways. It was the first time that I read a love story that begins with the divorce of the main couple. I am glad that everything worked well!

“I broke her heart once, and I’d let her break my heart a thousand times in return if it meant that one day she found her way back to me.”

Dominic was a great character.

“I’ve never loved you more than in this moment. Watching you choose yourself when I didn’t will always prove as a reminder to me of your incredible strength and what a privilege it is to call you mine.”

To be honest, I never doubt his love for Alessandra and it was painful to see how much he was missing her. I loved the way he was thinking her and all their moments together.

Alessandra was amazing also.

“You broke my heart, and you weren’t even there to witness it.” 

It was very hard for her to made the decision to leave him in the beginning of the book, but it was the right thing to do in order to find herself again. It wasn’t her intention but she helped Dominic a lot. He needed to lose her in order to save their relationship.

“She was the only person who’d ever truly mattered. Even if she didn’t love me anymore, even if all my efforts to win her back failed, she would always be the sun anchoring my universe.”

It was a great story and I couldn’t put the book down!

"King of Pride" by Ana Huang

 

I loved this book! Really, it has it all! Great plot, amazing characters, funny moments and hot scenes.

Isabella is a character I loved from the moment I met her. I was moved by the fact that she is trying to find her purpose in life and she is watching her friends and family getting settled down. I loved her even more for all the awkward moments in front of Kai! Really, girl, youhad such bad timing every single time!

Kai was amazing! To be honest, I was kind of reluctant at first about those two as a couple,but their differences are what make them perfect together. He is smart but sexy as hell and Ilove the way he was thinking about her. And when he was jealous??? OMG!

The story was very good and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Important announcement...

 So, this is a different post, because I have an important announcement. I decided to write on my blog in English from now on. I believe that it’s better since almost all the books I read are in English. When I read a book in Greek, then I will write again in my own language.

"King of Wrath" της Ana Huang

 

Έχοντας διαβάσει τη σειρά Twisted από την Ana Huang, εννοείται ότι ήθελα να δω αν και τα άλλα της βιβλία είναι το ίδιο καλά. Οπότε, δεν αντιστάθηκα στον πειρασμό και αγόρασα και τη σειρά (όσα έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δηλαδή!) Kings of Sin!

Πραγματικά λάτρεψα το πρώτο βιβλίο King of Pride! Ήταν ακριβώς όπως το περίμενα και ακόμα παραπάνω!

Τι να πω για τον Dante? Ανυπομονούσα να διαβάσω την ιστορία του, επειδή τον είχα δει και στην Twisted series και αξίζει όλο to hype που γίνεται! Υπήρχαν στιγμές που τον λάτρεψα και στιγμές που ήθελα να τον χτυπήσω, αλλά μπορούσα να καταλάβω τη σύγκρουση που βίωνε εσωτερικά σε σχέση με τη Vivian.

“I hate the idea of you touching anyone else, or anyone else touching you. I hate that other people can make you laugh in a way I can’t. I hate how I feel around you, like you’re the only person that can make me lose control when I. Don’t. Lose. Control.”

Η Vivian ως χαρακτήρας μου άρεσε πολύ. Μπορεί σε κάποιους να φαινόταν ότι δεν έχει ισχυρή προσωπικότητα σε αυτά που έχουν να κάνουν με τους γονείς της, αλλά μπορώ να καταλάβω γιατί συμπεριφερόταν έτσι. Θεωρώ ότι ήταν από τους πιο αξιοπρεπείς γυναικείους χαρακτήρες που έχω διαβάσει!

“I’d kissed my fair share of men over the years, but none had ever kissed me like this.”
