My reading slump is awful these days but this book was very good and made me want to read and finish a book again!
I really love the world of fae because these
creatures are beautiful but also cruel. They don’t feel or need like humans and
the most important: they can’t lie. But words can be deceiving and everyone
must pay attention.
Jude is not a fae but she lives in their world.
Actually, she lives with the man who killed her parents but for them is not
important. She knows this life only and she only has to do what she can in
order not only to survive but to thrive as well.
Everyone has his/her own agenda. There are too
many lies and secrets and it is a very difficult task to find someone to trust.
Not even your own blood.
I liked Prince Cardan but I believe that there
are much more of him that I don’t know about and I can’t wait to find out!
Of course, I am going to read the second book
of the series!
