“The Final Offer” by Lauren Asher

The final book in this series is definitely as good as the previous ones. This is the story of Cal and Lana and their love story goes way back.

I loved Cal! He has an alcohol addiction and he’s trying to receive his inheritance doing a difficult task. Why difficult? Because he has to spend time with the only woman he loved. I loved him so much because I could see that the only thing he ever wanted was to be accepted and to feel loved. He made mistakes but he did everything in his power to become a better person.

I liked Lana a lot. She’s still heartbroken but she’s doing her best in order to raise Cami by herself. It’s easy to see that her love for Cal is strong after so many years. Truthfully, she made some mistakes also, but it’s not easy for her to trust Cal after everything that happened.

I am glad that they found their HEA!

If you are fan of contemporary romance, I believe that this series is definitely for you!

“Terms and Conditions” by Lauren Asher

“I could spend the rest of forever with you and it still wouldn’t be enough time to finish everything I have planned for us.”

I love a good grumpy boy X sunshine girl book! Seriously, this book has it all! Grumpy man, fake marriage, boss/employee relationship and family drama!

“I want to leave this world before you because I can't imagine having to go through a single day without you.”

Declan is a very difficult man and he has to get married and have a baby if he wants the inheritance of his grandfather. When his assistant takes the role of his fake wife, it’s time for the world to see the real Declan. The passionate and gentle one. But he is his own worst enemy and if he wants happiness he has to change a lot.

“Somehow love seems to humanize the worst souls.”

Iris is a sunshine compared with Declan and she’s trying her best to overcome many difficulties in her life. I liked her a lot because she is genuine and she’s a very strong woman. She was amazing because she didn’t herself short and she took her life in her own hands trying to improve herself.

It was a very nice read and I recommend it!

“The Fine Print” by Lauren Asher

If you want a modern fairy tale, then this book is definitely the perfect choice! I have to admit that at the beginning I wasn’t into this book so much, but soon it won me over.

“Life's too short to hide who you are because you're afraid of getting hurt.”

Rowan begins as a cold man with no remorse about his actions and he ends up like the prince charming! The fact that he made arrangements for a signing from her favorite author? Yeah, this made me love him no matter what!

“Because if she’s not happy, I’ll ruin whatever stole her smile, myself included.”

Zahra is too good to be true at first. Too smiley, too kind etc. But when we get to know her better, we understood that this is her way to fight the darkness she lived once. I liked her a lot with Rowan and I believe that they are perfect for each other!

I loved that fairy tale vibes in this book! It was a nice and cozy read and I enjoyed it very much!

“Damaged Goods” by L.J Shen

I absolutely love all L.J Shen’s books! I fell in love with the characters from Sinners of Saint series and All Saints High and I knew that this book will be a hard story to read because of… Rosie. Yeah, she’s gone but her presence is always there. But first things first.

“Life is a journey, and no road worth taking is smooth and bumpless. Life is a borrow, not a gift”

Lev and Bailey are the youngest children and they love each other since they were kids. But their road to happiness isn’t easy and they have to change a lot before claiming each other. Bailey has many demons to fight and in order to do that she has to accept that it’s ok not to be perfect. Lev has to realize that he must fight for what he wants to do in his life and not try to please his family. Thankfully, they do themselves right and they get their HEA!

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Yeah, I am talking about Dean Cole. I read many negative reviews because of his decision. Why? It’s pretty clear that not only he absolutely LOVES Rosie but also he can’t move on. What more do you want? He is still young and he’s lonely! I adore him because I want to be loved like he love Rosie, but I am sad that he’s alone. You truly believe that he could love Dixie like Rosie? No fucking way. It’s not the same at all. And the fact that they want to name their baby Rosie is amazing.

I am sad that this series came to an end! I love them all! Absolutely amazing series!

“Angry God” by L.J Shen

I absolutely loved this book! It was an epic read and the perfect one for Vaughn, Vicious’ mini-me! This book has everything that I love in a story: a hero who wants revenge, amazing chemistry between the main couple and a lot of angst.

“Kissing him was like standing on the edge of a cliff. Nice view, but you knew it was deadly.”

Vaughn Spencer is a god! True story. The way he’s thinking and he’s plotting brought made memories of his father in a very good way. I love the way he feels. Everyone believes that he can’t feel. But he feels deeply. He prefers to follow a lonely road than hurt his family or his beloved.

“Our love was so much more than love. It stripped us of pride and anger and hate and insecurities. We were bare and beautiful and pure when we were together.”

Lenora is the perfect woman for Vaughn. Her artistic soul is a perfect match for his soul. She’s trying to find beauty in everything and she can see through Vaughn’s façade. She’s strong and she’s always trying to do her best under any circumstances.

I loved them as a couple! But of course, it was good to see his parents as well in this book!
