“God of Ruin” by Rina Kent

I will be honest and you can call me crazy. I was team Landon since I first read about him and this book proves me right!

“Happy Birthday, little muse. Remember, a future where you don’t belong to me doesn’t exist.”

I knew that Landon won’t be an easy man to deal with and with the way that his mind works is even more difficult. He is a genius and he is always a step above everyone else, something that doesn’t help in his popularity with the other guys! He is intense and possessive and almost every other male character in this series wants a piece of him and not in a good way. From the moment he realized that Mia is his muse he did everything in his power to conquer her. He thought he was empty but Mia proved him wrong. His feelings are different but not less intense. It was amazing seeing him ready to sacrifice his talent in order to be with Mia!

“And I’ll make sure to bring her demons to their knees before they hurt her, even if it’s the last thing I do.”

I liked Mia a lot. She’s smart, sassy and she doesn’t hide her feelings. What I liked most was that she didn’t want to change Landon. She wanted to understand him. She wanted to know how his mind worked. She loved his creativity and his intelligence first and then she loved the man he was. She had to deal with a lot in her life as well and he helped her a lot.

A scene in this book that I loved? When Mia’s father spoke on the phone with Jonathan King! Well, that was hilarious!!!

It was good to see many of the other characters here and I can’t wait for their story!
