Well that was unexpected! To be honest when I
start reading this book, I was expecting something very different. It was weird
to see so many POVs but, after a while I got used to it. But because of the
multiple POVs, I can’t say that we had main characters. Or, even better, everyone is a main
character!
RJ is a hacker and he finds himself in a weird
situation when his mother married a very wealthy man and now he is in a private
school with his new stepbrother. He’s not used to rely on people but soon he
finds himself not only with his new step-brother and some very morally grey
friends, but with a girlfriend with a very annoying ex!
Sloane is one of a kind type of woman.
Definitely not an easy character, she is very strong but she’s tired to act like
she can handle everything all the time. I liked her a lot because she’s not
some damsel in distress and she’s not afraid of her sexuality!
Fenn is the stepbrother and a young man that
hides a lot. His relationship with his father in non-existent, he seems to
really care about Casey (Sloane’s sister) but he holds back and he truly likes
his new step-brother. But his secrets are too many and this don’t look good for
him.
Lawson is kind of mysterious. He’s
sexualization personalized! He’s bi and he’s not afraid to use it to his own
advantage. To be honest, I believe that this one has more depth that he’s let
on.
Now about Silas… Well, I don’t know what to say
about him. Although, he seems like the most normal, it’s easy to see that he
has secrets and he makes some questionable decisions. The jury is still out on
him!
Well, it was a very nice read with a lot of
mystery and many funny and hot moments! I will read the second one too!
