This is the third book in Elle Kennedy’s series
and it’s as good as the previous two. I love Elle Kennedy’s writing style and I
am enjoying so much her books!
“No one has a harder job than the man who comes
after the cheater.”
This is the story of Hunter and Demi. We met
Hunter in the first book but I have to admit that he’s better now. He’s
definitely more mature, captain of hockey team and dedicated in his quest to be
a more responsible person. I liked him because he has a great sense of humor
and he’s a very good friend. It was funny to see him trying to be celibate.
“You mean more to me than hockey,” he says
simply, and damned if that doesn’t make my heart expand. “Get it through your
stubborn head.”
Demi was the kind of woman that everyone is
drawn to her. She’s a very outgoing person and I loved her sense of humor and
the way she was expressing her sensuality. Also, it was good to read the way
she confront her cheating boyfriend. And, thankfully, a woman who is not afraid
to eat!
I have to say something important. So far in
this series, I like all the FMCs because they are strong, independent women,
smart and sassy who are not afraid to accept their sensuality. They have
confidence and they are successful in their fields.
What I liked most in this book besides the
romance? The fact that it made me laugh! The whole story with the egg and the
hockey team was hilarious and the relationship between Hollis and Rupi? Simply
perfect!
So, I loved this story!!!!
