“I’ve loved you in secret, and I’ve loved you
openly in front of both our worlds, and if you think I’ll stop loving you if
you put an ocean between us, you’re dead wrong.”
It’s time for the second generation of sinners
and I have to say that they’ll give their parents a run for their money! This
book was very good and you know why? Because the main characters had many
faults and they were the real deal!
“Love. Four letters can't cover what I feel for
Daria Followhill. They seem too trivial, too small, too overused.”
I’ll start with Daria. She is the queen in All
Saints High and she acts like a total bitch. She wants for the whole world to
see her ugly side. But deep down, she’s just a scared girl with too many
regrets. Although, she’s trying so hard to pretend she’s bad, it’s easy to see
that she’s crying for help.
“We break things all the time. It's called
life. If you don't break, you don't live. You don't move. You don't try. You
don't take chances. Breaking is a part of living.”
Penn is the right man for Daria. He’s the one who
can see past her armor and give her the love she deserves. The fact that he is
hot and the chemistry between them is amazing is a bonus!
It was good to see Jamie’s and Mel’s POV and to
see that their love is pretty strong after so many years!
