“Ruckus” by L.J Shen

“Love felt like dipping each other in gasoline and burning together. Love felt like dancing with madness in the dark, watching all of its bright lights. Love felt like gasping for air when your lungs were already full.”

I LOVE this book! Like, I really really love it!!! Dean “Ruckus” Cole has my heart and I am not ashamed to admit that he’s one of my all time book boyfriends!

This is the story of Dean and Rosie. This is a story of a great love that lost ten years because everyone was a fucking idiot! Yeah, I love them all but they made terrible mistakes. If Vicious wasn’t so stubborn and claimed Millie since high school, then Dean and Rosie would be together since then!

“You’re awfully possessive.”

…“That’s because you’re awfully mine.”

Dean “Ruckus” Cole is one of the Four HotHoles and he always parties hard with many women. Everyone thinks that he has it all: looks, money, status. No one knows that he’s suffering. Dean wants Rosie but his history with her sister makes it kind of hard for them to be together. But, now, after so many years, Dean will claim her and he’s not taking no for an answer. I have to say here… I absolutely love that he’s calling her Baby LeBlanc.

“What makes you feel alive?

Regret. For regret reminds you that life has a weight. Sometimes it’s heavier. Sometimes it’s lighter.”

Rosie is a favorite character of mine. I love the way she’s trying to live her life in the fullest. I am sad for her, because she knows that her time is precious and she doesn’t want to be treated like an invalid. The way she loves is fierce and she’s very protective. She’s the perfect woman for Dean, because she understands him like no one else.

I love their story so much! Also, I loved all the scenes with the Four HotHoles because they are so good together! And, little Knight at the end of the book?? Absolutely perfect!!!
